• How soon can I cover a brand new or freshly repainted vehicle?

  Chemical compounds used in paint and finishes release gases and need time to fully cure. We recommend waiting a minimum of four weeks before covering a new or freshly repainted vehicle to prevent the cover from interfering with the curing process.

• How do I clean my vehicle cover?

  The best way to clean our covers is with a soft scrub brush and warm water. For heavy soiling, you can use white vinegar diluted with water. We do not recommend washing covers in a washing machine as the machine agitation may cause the seams to rip or tear. Air dry only. We also do not recommend using detergents or bleach as they may damage the protective coatings on the fabric.

• What is the difference between water-repellent, water-resistant, and waterproof vehicle covers?

  Water-repellent fabric sheds water but remains permeable to air, causing water to bead up and run off. Water-resistant fabric is constructed to hinder the absorption and penetration of water but may soak through in heavy rain or prolonged exposure. Waterproof fabric is fully impermeable to water. Regardless of protection level, no cover can prevent condensation - a natural occurrence caused by humidity and dew point. Most covers feature air vents and are designed to allow airflow to aid in evaporation.

• Where can I find the part number and production code on my vehicle cover?

  The part number and production code (sometimes called tag code or batch number) are located on the white product tag that is sewn onto an interior seam of the cover. Please have your product available to reference when locating this information, as it may be needed for customer support or parts inquiries.
