Rated 5 out of 5 by Miss Perry from Best Boat Ever! Both my husband and I own this boat. We've had it for two years now and every season we are always impressed with the ease of use it gives us. Easy to inflate, transport and get on the water and maneuver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jim from Super Single Person Watercraft Came very well wrapped for shipment. Not a mark on anything despite being shipped from China. Assembled easily and intuitively. Lots and lots of storage space in the two pontoon "saddle bags". Swivel seat is comfortable. I love the stripping apron and use it for all kinds of non-stripping things like having a table for lunch. I break it down and load it inside the back of a Jeep Cherokee. About a half hour or so to assemble at waters edge. The transport wheel is nice, but you have to get down on all fours to stow it or be very good at working with your hands out of sight. The remote anchor hoist is nice, but has to be threaded on each assembly. Three oar lock positions, adjustable foot pegs, and seat gives you a lot of options for big and tall to not so much. Overall, great value for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tin knocker from Buying one more I bought this boat and added a Minn kota 30lb. Thrust motor so I could use it for trolling. The Colorado XTS performs flawlessly! The boat is stable, has the perfect amount of storage and the selling point for me was the swivel seat witch makes it easy to reach the tiller handle on the motor. I like it so much I will be buying the same setup for my wife.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jim from Packaging, assembly, and design overview. Just got my new XTS delivered. The unboxing and unwrapping too about an hour. That is good news because everything is super wrapped. No rub marks, dents or any other shipping related damage. I was very pleased. The assembly was smooth and the parts assembly directions were clear and easy to follow. A few more pictures (particularly color) would be nice, but not essential. I was very impressed with all of the options. The stripping basket, the pontoon bags, anchor system, rod holder, on and on. I felt like I was getting real value for my dollar. As a specific example, the bags are large full of pockets, dry well secured and are so well thought out that the bag end walls are teingorced by flipup panels that slip in to fabric sleeves to hold them in place. Very, very, nice!! Someone put some serious thought into their design. Well done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sparky from I am highly recommending this pontoon to everyone I know. I have been out on the Potomac river several times, and it has handled perfectly. It only takes 20-30 min. to inflate and put together. It holds all my gear, easily, plus the trolling motor and battery. The swivel seat is a must have, to be able to reach all parts of the boat. I can't say enough good things about this boat, If you want a boat that is easily handled, stored, assembled then I recommend this one or one of the other models.

Hey CA team, I'm looking for protective covers for the pontoons on my XTS. Something like two big socks that I can slip on the bottom of the toons while hauling around. Do you guys have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hello- I'm still confused.... I asked for weight capacity of the XTS model. Answer was 400# for person, motor, gear. However, I see and answer to a similar question and the answer stated 300#. Is there a capacity plate on that can be displayed?

Asked by: Angler
We are very glad you are taking the weight capacity of the Colorado Pontoon boat seriously, it is very important. The Colorado Pontoon XTS boat is indeed 400 lbs maximum weight capacity for persons and gear. We do not have a display plate to state these guidelines. If you would like to contact us for clarification you are very welcome to call our Customer Support team @ (253) 395-3900 M-F 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We look forward to hearing from you.

Under dimensions tab, it indicates 400# weight limit, but discussed in other threads as 300# limit. Which is it? Can a 2hp Honda outboard be used? It is approx. 30#...less weight than a group 24 battery and TM. Perhaps the torque of OB is too much.

Asked by: Angler
Hopefully this information will help: Maximum persons and gear capacity: 400 lbs (181 kg); Maximum Motor Thrust: 30 lbs (13.6 kg); Maximum Motor Shaft Length: 36 inch (91 cm). As for the motor, it all depends on the pounds of thrust it is capable of. If the thrust is over 30lbs then you may start the risk of bending or breaking the frame due to the force applied.

What are the dimensions of the frame itself? I'm seriously interested, regardless. Am curious on the take-down dimensions to transport in the rear cargo area of small SUV like a CRV ( and if possible have a Roanoke stacked with it to take a friend. Cheers

I can get my Colorado into the trunk of my Dodge Dart with other gear. I put the seat in my backseat. I also get a trolling motor in the trunk with the boat. There is a video on youtube that someone up loaded showing how they get one into their trunk.

Asked by: Rgriffin
Our Pontoon boats are designed for Class 1 only waters. Anything above that would void the warranty.
