Rated 5 out of 5 by Mikenbella from Better than good! Purchased a Colorado model and added a trolling motor for use in an electric motor only lake. Had a great 3 day fishing trip with my daughter in her kayak. The pontoon exceeded my expectations and performed without any issues. Pontoons will swell if you leave it in the sun so have to be diligent releasing pressure from the pontoon valves. Easy as pie to do! Great trip and great boat. Now my daughter wants one (I may just get another).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tuna from So Far... Bought the colorado XT three weeks ago direct from Classic Accessories. Took a week to get it. first mods I did were putting a swivel base on the seat $8.00 and going to a dual tire setup for easy transport. Will plan to get oar rights if a trolling motor isn't added right away. There is a bit of a learning curve using the oars, especially without the rights(stops). Customer service responses a bit slow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WayneB from Good and a little that needs to be improved Purchased a couple weeks ago, got it shipped, arrived in Canada after two weeks. It’s durable it floats in only a few inches of water, I’ve only used once and I already love it. That being said the air valve system is a bit cumbersome to deal with. And it does have a travel wheel but it isn’t a drop down, you have to pull it out of one slot and put it into another, not a big deal but it would be nice if it just spun down and could be locked. Otherwise I really like it it’s very adjustable I’m fairly large at 6’3 240 and I’m comfortable on it. First time outing it together it’s slow but after that the next time is no problem

Can I use a 2hp gas powered trolling motor vs having a 30# thrust and 50 pound battery?

Asked by: Dillon23
Sorry, this pontoon boat is not suitable for gas powered motors. Our owner's manual indicates: WARNING - THIS PONTOON BOAT IS NOT RATED FOR USE WITH GASOLINE OR DIESEL OUTBOARD MOTORS. For your safety it would be best to stay with a electric trolling motor and a maximum electric motor shaft length of 36 inch (91cm) with a maximum thrust of 30 lbs (14kg) is recommended.

Hello, I've been considering the purchase of the Colorado XT for some time now. My biggest hesitation is my size vs. the capacity of the pontoon. I am 6'9" and around 310lbs. Am I too large for it? Thanks in advance for the information.

Asked by: BSarn27
The weight capacity for the Colorado XT is 400 lbs., so while there is not any issue with you using the boat, I would keep an eye on the amount of gear that you take with you, such as a trolling motor, in order to stay beneath the recommended maximum.

I have enjoyed using this pontoon boat for many years, should I treat the fabric on the pontoons with anything to prolong its life?

Asked by: KimMarie
We do not recommend treating the fabric to prolong its life. The best care for your boat is as follows: CARE FOR YOUR BOAT The pontoon boat can be cleaned with soap and water then rinsed. Use a soft rag for hard to clean areas. SEASONAL STORAGE OF YOUR BOAT Remove pontoons from the frame, empty pockets of any sharp objects that may puncture the skin. Deflate completely and fold for storage. Store pontoons away from sharp objects, heat or abrasive wear. Dismantle frame and boat parts and store in box.

I was wondering if the boat comes apart for storage making it easier for a woman to get in and out of her vehicle. I think it might be challenging for me to lift 70 pounds into my trunk.
